Finally... The Update is Now on the App Store!

This has been a bear of a few months! Correcting the bugs that the recent Apple iOs caused kept us busy and stressed! However, it is on App Store now... check out the details below.

** Quick Tip -- If for some reason you find that the updated Wall About You App is closing on you.... simply delete the App and reinstall it. Sometimes, it takes a time of two to acclimate....weird I know, but it works :)

Wall About You - Update Available on iTunes!

Great news - the Wall About You Update 1.2.1 is now available on iTunes!

For this update, we are bringing you 6 new trendy background designs, we tweaked the font screen and the layout of monogram options to improve the overall design.

Don't worry... we are still working on the "back" button :) and promise to bring it to you as soon as we can.

Make sure to update your Wall About You app for optimal performance and be certain to update your iOs with Apple too. All apps work best when you are using the most recent Apple software.

Lastly, be sure to give us a little review on iTunes so we can continue to improve the app for you! We love 5 stars! :)

Scaling your Wallpaper to Create Endless Styles!

If you are looking for a way to enlarge your name, monogram or background design using the Wall About You app, follow these easy directions to create endless more wallpapers for your device!

Create & Save your wallpaper
Open your Photos App
Select the new saved monogrammed wallpaper
Click the Action Arrow
Select the 'Use as Wallpaper' option
Scale the new wallpaper by using two fingers and 'zooming' into the wallpaper. You can both enlarge it and move it off set it.
Set the new wallpaper!

ETSY Treasury Love!

I adore the ETSY Treasuries! I love them because when I am looking for the perfect gift or have a style or concept in mind, I just key it in and someone (usually with great taste) has already found the most perfect items for me!

I also love it when we are featured in treasuries ;) . Mostly because I like to see how people would use our wallpapers. I often have customers give our wallpapers as gifts, but with these two new treasury inclusions... we are actually featured as Guy's Gift ideas! YEAH!

Invitations & Stationery

Often, people ask whether I would or could create a custom invite or stationery set for them. The answer is always yes!, but I rarely feature them on the site or ETSY.

This is a goal for 2011 too ;)... so many goals... so little time ! Here are a few snippets of earlier works. I'll be organizing the portfolio and placing them up within the next month.

What next...?

This new year, I made a pretty strong resolution.... just one....unfortunately for me, A LOT could fall under it, as my better half, N, keeps reminding me....ARGHGHG!

So what was it you ask?....Simply put.... 'to become a bad@ss' (censored for for young readers ;)...) ....yep. What was I thinking? I guess it was just time to do all of the things I wanted to.

So....one simple resolution has led to a lot of changes over here.

Physically ~ I started running again. How long has it been?...not since college...that was oh, well...13 years ago. With running came a commitment to a 10K, then a half marathon. Yes, I did that, no really...March 25, there I was with 14,000+ others. Did I win? No. Did I finish fast? Not so fast. Did I finish? YES! And that is all that matters! ;)

Professionally ~ that brings us here... I relaunched McKinley Margo with an entire new product line~ Monogrammed Wallpaper for your iPhone or iPad...who'd have thought that a brainstorm on a snowy day could bring so many changes to my little company?!

So, what's next?..... Wall About You .... that's what!... Wall About You is an iPhone, iPod and iPad Application that allows you personalize your device with Monogrammed Wallpapers- Created by You!

Hopefully in a few weeks, everyone... well... everyone who wants to create super cute custom wallpapers for their iPhone, iPod or iPad.... will be able to purchase the little App that could and get designing!

In the meantime, over the next few days / weeks, I'll be sharing some of the project details with you, as well as some of my inspiration.
